How do I create an account?
What if I don't have an email account?
Does your site require any special software to use?
Florida HomeLINK does not require any special software to search the homes available. You only need a computer, an Internet connection, and a web browser.
Do I need to create an account to search the homes for sale?
You do not need to create an account to search the homes on Florida HomeLINK but we encourage you to do so in order to utilize all of the features Florida HomeLINK offers to maximize your home search.
How do I search for homes?
There are a few ways you can search for homes on Florida HomeLINK:
- You can either do a quick search from the home page by selecting a city, a minimum price, a maximum price, number of bedrooms and then click the quick search button.
- You can click the map search button on the home page to search certain areas of Florida by clicking on a map.
- You can click on the "Find a Home" link at the top of the home page to perform an advanced search.
How come I don't get very many search results?
Try broadening your search. For example, if you completed ALL of the fields in the advanced search, try eliminating one or two of the criteria.
When I search by keyword, what fields does it search?
If you type in Pool it will search all listings for the word pool. Make sure to seperate the kewords with a comma (pool, fireplace, fence)
Do I have to pay anything to contact the home owner?
No. Florida HomeLINK is FREE to home buyers.
How do I contact the home owner to see the house?
If the listing was posted by a realtor, you will find the realtor's information on the right side of the description. You should contact the realtor if it is listed by a realtor.
If the listing was posted by an individual home owner, they will include their contact information in the listing. In this case, you should contact the home owner directly with whatever information they provided.
How current are these listings? How do I know the home is still available?
Home sellers / realtors have access to the site 24 hours a day / 7 days a week so if the listing is no longer available, they will log on and remove the listing.
There are so many realtors featured on your site, how do I know which one to pick?
This is a tough one! There are many, many good realtors available to help you find your dream home. The best way to pick a realtor is to meet a few and find the one that makes you feel the most comfortable.
What is an MLS number?
MLS stands for Multiple Listing Service. MLS listings are homes, condos, anything for sale by Realtors® and other realty professionals that are members of the local MLS Multiple Listing Service.
The map feature is neat - how does it work?
When you search using the Map View it will show upto 10 listings per page on the map. If you choose the next page the map will reload with 10 more listings.
Why isn't the ciy I am looking for on your list of cities?
We included the most commonly searched cities in our list. It would be impossible to list ALL of the cities in Florida in the search box.
I found a home I like but I am in a hurry and can't view it all right now - can I save this listing to a folder to view later?
Yes. On the listing description page, click the "Save Listing" link at the top on the right side of the photo.
To retrieve these listings, log in to your account and click My Favorite Homes.
How do I delete a home once I saved it to my folder and don't want it saved anymore?
Log in to your account and click My Favorite Homes. Click the delete link next to the home you would like to remove from your folder.

I have a question that I don't see covered here, how may I contact your site for help?
You can select either customer service or technical support by viewing our
contact us page.
I sent the tech support email address an email but have not heard a response - why not?
Customer Service and Tech Support are both available during normal business hours and attempt to respond to emails within 24 hours.
If you have not received a response, it is possible that either they did not receive your email or their response went into your spam (or bulk) folder.
Please check your spam (or bulk) folder and if it isn't there, please try contacting them again.
I completed the survey on your site, how is that information used?
The information is used for our purpose only! We will not sell your information to a third party.
I followed the instructions for the “Forgot My Password” but I haven't received an email containing my password.
The password retrieval system is automated and is sent immediately. If you have not received a response,
it is possible that the response went into your spam (or bulk) folder.

Can I set up a search so that you email me matches?
Yes! Log in to Florida HomeLINK. On your My Account page, click Create your Dream Home Profile. You can create up to 3 Dream Home Profiles
to search the database and sent to you as often as you would like by email and/or text that meet your requirements.
I forgot my password, what do I do?
From the home page, on the top right there is a Forgot Password link - or, you can
click here! We will email you your password.
I'm having trouble logging in, is there something special I should do?
Make sure your cookies are enabled. Also make sure your Caps Lock key is not on. If you have forgotten
your password, you can click here and we will email you your password.
I want to change my password, how do I do that?
Log in to Florida HomeLINK. On your My Account page, click Manage Your Account.
I want to change the email address on my account, how do I do that?
Log in to Florida HomeLINK. On your My Account page, click Manage Your Account.
I would like to subscribe / unsubscribe from your newsletter / alerts. How do I do that?
Log in to Florida HomeLINK. On your My Account page, click Manage Your Account.
What are text alerts?
By providing your cell phone number and provider, we can send you text alerts when you get a match on your
dream home profile.

How do I post my house for sale on Florida HomeLINK?
At the top of all of the pages is a link Sell A Home.
You can also get to this link by clicking Add New Listing in your account admin area (the page you see whwn you log in).
I paid for a 6 month term but I sold it in 1 month - do I get a refund?
CONGRATULATIONS for selling your home so quickly. Our service works! We don't offer any refunds for selling your house so quickly.
I sold my house, how do I remove it from the site?
Can potential buyers see how long my home has been listed?
They only see the date the listing was last updated. You may update it as frequently as you wish! right?
When I posted my house, I didn't have a realtor but I do now - should I add their information?
This is up to you. If you change your information to the realtor, make sure he/she knows they will be receiving emails from Florida HomeLINK
I need to raise/lower the price on my house - how do I do that?
Log in to your account and click on Manage Your Listing .
I prefer not to list my actual address and would prefer to reveal it only to those interested
in seeing the house - is that OK not to list it?
The address field is not required. If you would like your listing to show on the map, it will need an address.
There are a few issues with my home that I prefer to reveal to the potential buyer in person,
is it OK to omit that information in the description?
Yes, you can add a sentence in the description that states to contact you for further information.
